If this doesn't solve your problem, then the issue is more complicated. Since this is a new printer, it is very unlikely but it is still worth a shot downloading the free SSC utility and resetting the waste ink counter. This occurs after a predetermined time when the printer guesses that the waste ink pads are full and have to be replaced. The first and most hopeful is that of a service request. There are several causes of fatal errors. Am I correct that both the ink and paper warning lights are flashing rapidly on the front panel? If this is the case, the lights are indicating what is known as a "fatal error". If they won't then I guess you'll have to troubleshoot afterall.įrom the video I see that all of the inks are in their respective positions. If it is still under warrantee then I would insist that Epson replace it.
I can appreciate that you are very frustrated, especially since it is a new printer.
